The evening starts at 5pm, with music starting at 6pm. Your ticket includes one glass of wine or a sparkling mimosa! Wonderful cheese boxes ($25) and charcuterie boxes ($35) by Mabel’s Farms are available by pre-reservation.
Katelan Bowden is a coloratura soprano from Davis, California. A graduate of UC Davis, Ms. Bowden has been a member of the northern Californian music scene for over two decades, spanning genres and styles from opera roles to choral settings, lieder to baroque, and everything in between. Bowden has appeared most notably in roles such as Susanna in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, Queen of the Night (cover), Papagena, and First Lady in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, Poppea in Monteverdi’s L’incoronozione di Poppea, Musica in Monteverdi’s L’Orfeo, and Cinderella in Sondheim’s Into the Woods, among others. She has sung at such prestigious venues as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center and with companies such as the New York Lyric Opera, Opera San Josè, and Phènix Opera. Ms. Bowden has also been featured as the soprano soloist for works such as Handel’s Messiah, Mozart's Vesperae Solennus de Dominica and Mass in C Major, Haydn's Missa in Angustiis, Faure's Requiem, and Vivaldi's Gloria and Magnificat, among others. Currently in her seventh season with the San Francisco Symphony Chorus, she has sung with groups such as Capella SF, Marin Baroque Ensemble, Apollo Arts, Sacramento Opera Chorus, Camerata Chorus, and Contra Costa Children’s Choir
