The Heringer family has been farming in the Clarksburg region since 1868 creating a deep bond with the community and the land. With over 24 wine grape varieties and 650 acres of vineyards, the family is committed to sustainable vineyard and winery practices to showcase Clarksburg as a pristine wine region. Some of the most popular varieties from the vineyards are Tempranillo, Chardonnay, Petite Sirah, Malbec, & Tannat. The Heringer Estates Tasting Room is open daily from 11 am to 5 pm for wine tasting and beautiful vineyard views. The family winery offers a customizable wine club and guests are welcome to bring their own food or enjoy a selection of wine pairings from the seasonal menu. Well behaved dogs are allowed on the property and guests are encouraged to enjoy the Little Hoot Nature Walk, a scenic path overlooking the vineyards, during their visit. The family estate is also available for private events, vineyard tours, VIP experiences, and weddings.
